1. About NovaCast

NovaCast provides AI-assisted or AI-generated audio discussions designed to present competing perspectives on complex questions.

Episodes may use:

• AI-assisted research and writing;
• human editing, selection, arrangement, and production;
• synthetic or AI-generated voices;
• fictional hosts, moderators, debaters, or personas; and
• automated or semi-automated audio production.

NovaCast is an educational and media product. It is not a substitute for independent research or professional advice.

2. Eligibility and General-Audience Use

NovaCast is intended for a general audience.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use NovaCast only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Children under 13 should not submit personal information through NovaCast.

3. Limited Permission to Use NovaCast

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to:

• access the website;
• stream publicly available episodes;
• share links to NovaCast pages or episodes; and
• use the service for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes.

No other rights are granted.

4. Prohibited Uses

Unless we provide written permission, you may not:

• copy, download, reproduce, republish, upload, broadcast, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit NovaCast episodes or other content;
• remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or ownership notices;
• create unauthorized derivative products, feeds, channels, compilations, or commercial recordings;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, index, or systematically extract site content;
• use NovaCast content to create datasets or train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve an artificial-intelligence system;
• impersonate NovaCast, MannMade Ventures LLC, or any NovaCast personality;
• falsely suggest sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement;
• interfere with, disable, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems;
• introduce malware or harmful code;
• use NovaCast in violation of law or third-party rights; or
• use the service to harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or harm another person.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including applicable fair-use rights.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

As between you and the Company, and to the extent permitted by law, MannMade Ventures LLC owns or licenses the NovaCast website, branding, software, visual design, edited scripts, episode recordings, selection and arrangement of content, production elements, graphics, written materials, and other original materials made available through NovaCast.

NovaCast™ is a claimed service mark of MannMade Ventures LLC.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of NovaCast materials to you.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Feedback and Topic Suggestions

NovaCast allows users to submit feedback, comments, episode reactions, topic ideas, and related material (“Submissions”).

You retain any ownership rights you may have in your original Submission. By submitting material, you grant MannMade Ventures LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to:

• use;
• reproduce;
• store;
• analyze;
• modify;
• adapt;
• summarize;
• publish;
• display;
• distribute;
• create derivative works from; and
• incorporate the Submission into episodes, products, research, marketing, or services.

We may use a Submission without payment, attribution, approval, or further notice.

Do not submit material that:

• you do not have permission to provide;
• contains confidential or proprietary information;
• infringes another person’s rights;
• is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, fraudulent, or abusive; or
• contains malicious code.

We are not required to use, review, respond to, preserve, or return any Submission.

7. AI-Generated Content and Synthetic Voices

NovaCast episodes may contain AI-generated or AI-assisted language, voices, characters, summaries, and arguments.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

• NovaCast personalities are fictional or synthetic;
• voices are not intended to identify, imitate, or represent a real person;
• statements made by a personality do not necessarily reflect the views of MannMade Ventures LLC;
• a personality’s name, background, or perspective may be created for the episode; and
• no real individual or organization should be understood to endorse the episode.

8. Accuracy, Balance, and Educational Use

We aim to create thoughtful, engaging discussions that fairly present strong competing perspectives. We do not guarantee:

• perfect neutrality;
• equal treatment of every possible view;
• completeness;
• factual accuracy;
• current information;
• error-free research;
• consensus among experts; or
• suitability for a particular decision.

Arguments may be simplified, compressed, or dramatized for an audio format.

You are responsible for independently verifying information before relying on it.

9. No Professional Advice

NovaCast does not provide legal, medical, mental-health, financial, investment, tax, political, theological, pastoral, educational, or other professional advice.

Listening to an episode does not create a professional, fiduciary, pastoral, counseling, or advisory relationship.

Consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions involving significant rights, health, safety, finances, beliefs, or obligations.

10. Third-Party Information and Services

NovaCast may refer to third-party research, reporting, websites, organizations, products, services, public figures, or platforms.

References do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or verification.

Third-party information may change or become unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, conduct, or policies.

11. Availability and Changes

We may, at any time and without liability:

• change an episode;
• correct or remove content;
• add or remove features;
• restrict access;
• discontinue an episode;
• suspend the service; or
• stop operating NovaCast.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free availability.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVACAST AND ALL RELATED CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

MANNMADE VENTURES LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AND AVAILABILITY.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANNMADE VENTURES LLC AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO NOVACAST.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF MANNMADE VENTURES LLC FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO NOVACAST WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

• THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE NOVACAST DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
• FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any legal action arising from or related to these Terms or NovaCast must be brought in a state or federal court located in Davidson County, Tennessee, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of NovaCast after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
